Terms of service

Effective 12 October 2026 · Private beta

These terms are an agreement between you and Code Cult LLC (“Adzi”, “we”, “us”), the company that runs the Adzi service at adzi.io. They cover the web app, the emails and messages Adzi sends, and everything else we provide under the Adzi name.

Please read them. By creating a workspace, signing in or using Adzi, you agree to them and to our Privacy policy. If you use Adzi for a business or an agency, you confirm that you can agree on its behalf, and “you” means that business too.

1. What Adzi is, and that it is a private beta

Adzi is a web app for ecommerce media buyers. A workspace connects each client’s Meta ad account and, optionally, its Shopify store and a Slack channel. Adzi then reads their data in the background and shows it: today’s figures on Home, campaigns, ad sets and ads with their performance, four alerts that watch each client, and reports that Adzi builds from your request with the help of an AI model and sends by email or to Slack.

Adzi is in a private beta. That means it is still being built, that features may change, pause or end, and that we make no promise about availability, speed, uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. We keep each client’s dated figures for 95 days and fetch older dates when a report asks for them.

2. Your account and your team

You sign in with a code sent to your email or with Google; there is no password. During sign-up you verify a phone number, and you can turn on a second factor that sends a code to that number. Keep the codes to yourself: anyone who enters one is treated as you.

You must be at least 18 and use Adzi for business. Give us accurate details and keep them current.

A workspace has owners, admins and members. Owners and admins see every client and manage the workspace; members see the clients they are assigned. You are responsible for everyone you invite, for the roles you give them and for what they do in your workspace. Invitations expire after seven days.

We may suspend an account or a workspace to protect Adzi, its data or other customers, and we will tell you why unless the law or the situation prevents it.

3. Connecting Meta, Shopify, Slack and WhatsApp

You may only connect accounts you hold the authority to connect: an ad account you manage, a store you run or are engaged to run, a Slack workspace you administer, and phone numbers whose owners agreed to hear from you. Each platform’s own terms apply to your use of it alongside Adzi, including Meta’s, Shopify’s, Slack’s and WhatsApp’s.

Adzi asks each platform for the permissions it needs and no more. From Meta it asks to read your ad accounts and, so that approved changes can be made from Adzi when a workspace has that switched on, to manage ads and the business they belong to. From Shopify it asks for read access to orders, products, stock, locations, returns and discounts, and optionally reports, and never for a customer’s identity. From Slack it asks to post, to see channel names and to upload files, so that a scheduled report’s PDF can go with its message, and, so that a critical alert can mention someone, to see the names of the workspace’s members and user groups; never to read messages.

Adzi’s sync only reads. Nothing Adzi syncs changes an ad, a budget, an order or a message on any platform.

Where Adzi can act on Meta, it does so only when the workspace has that switched on and only on an instruction from one of your owners or admins: publishing a campaign drafted in Adzi, which is created paused after an owner or admin approves it, and changing a campaign’s, ad set’s or ad’s status or its own budget. You remain responsible for every campaign, budget and ad in your accounts, for checking them in the platform, and for what they cost.

Removing a client or a connection in Adzi deletes what Adzi holds for it. It does not revoke Adzi’s access on the platform; you do that in Meta, Shopify or Slack.

4. Your data and the licence you give us

Your workspace’s content and your clients’ data belong to you or to your clients. You give us a licence to host, copy, process, display and transmit them, only as needed to provide, secure and improve Adzi and as the Privacy policy describes. We do not sell them.

You are responsible for having the right to put data into Adzi: the accounts you connect, the files you upload, the email addresses and phone numbers you add as recipients, and anything you type to Adzi.

5. Figures, alerts, reports and AI

Figures come from Meta and Shopify as they report them, in each source’s own currency and local day, and as fresh as the last sync Adzi shows. Where Adzi does not have a figure it shows a dash, never a zero. We do not check a platform’s figures and we are not responsible for their accuracy.

Alerts are checks against rules you set or accept. They are not advice and may miss something or fire when nothing is wrong.

A report’s figures come from the data itself. The sentences around them are written by an AI model and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review a report before you rely on it or send it to a client; what you send is yours.

A report you share by link can be opened by anyone who holds the link until it expires or you revoke it. Nothing in Adzi is financial, legal, tax or other professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

Using Adzi, you agree not to:

  • break any law, a platform’s terms or someone else’s rights;
  • put in data you have no right to use, including a customer’s personal data you were not allowed to share;
  • send reports, alerts or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them;
  • copy, reverse engineer, scrape or access Adzi other than through its interface, or probe its security;
  • work around a limit, a role or an approval;
  • pretend to be someone else or to act for a business you do not represent;
  • use Adzi to build or help build a competing service.

7. Fees

Adzi is free during the private beta and asks for no payment method. Each workspace sees an allowance of AI tokens for the month, and daily limits on AI use apply to keep the service fair.

We may introduce paid plans later. If we do, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead, and we will never charge you without your agreement.

8. Intellectual property and feedback

Adzi, its software, design and name belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you the right to use Adzi as it is offered and nothing more. Meta, Shopify, Slack, WhatsApp and the other names and marks shown in Adzi belong to their owners; we show them only to say what Adzi connects to.

If you give us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Confidentiality

Each of us will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for this agreement, except where the law requires disclosure or the information is already public through no fault of the receiving side.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Adzi at any time and ask us to delete your account or workspace as the Privacy policy describes; we complete deletion within 30 days.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use puts Adzi, its data or others at risk, or if the law requires it. We may also end the private beta or any part of Adzi; where we can, we will give you notice and a way to take your data with you.

Sections 4, 8, 9 and 11 to 15 keep applying after the agreement ends.

11. Disclaimers

Adzi is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty, express or implied, including of accuracy, availability, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Platforms may change, limit or withdraw their data or interfaces at any time, and Adzi depends on them. Decisions you take on the figures Adzi shows are yours.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for lost profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for lost or corrupted data, however it arises. Our total liability to you under or in connection with these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and one hundred US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us against claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your content, your campaigns and ads, the recipients you add, the people you invite, or your breach of these terms or of a platform’s terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. If a dispute arises, we will each first try in good faith to settle it by talking. Failing that, the courts of Cairo have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any consumer right you may have under the law of your own country.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We post the new version here with a new effective date and, for a change that matters to you, we tell you by email or in Adzi at least 14 days before it applies. If you keep using Adzi after that, you accept the change.

16. Contact
